STAFF REPORT
In December, 1985, the City Council initiated a program to
eva1uate,for redevelopment purposes, the area bounded by Ria1to
Avenue to Mill Street, and "E" Street to 1-215 Freeway. This lo-
cation has been designated as the Central City South Area.
Subsequent to that program, by April, 1986, the City
Redevelopment Agency contracted for a conceptual Development Plan
to define precise street alignments and design standards for those
streets.
"G" Street is designated as a secondary highway in the
street classification portion of the Central City South Plan, and
will have two lanes of traffic in each direction and ~ If-foot
landscaped median or a continuous two-way left-turn lane. No
on-street parking is to be allowed.
Engineering staff recommends that the "No Parking Anytime"
zone on "G" Street, between Ria1to Avenue and Mill Street, be
approved in concurrence with the Central City South Plan. Since
"G" Street is not fully improved to the Master Plan width, the
parking restriction will be posted as required.

5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION l: Resolution No. 3985, which prohibits parking
upon certain designated streets or portions thereof, Section One,
Subsection (13.1Al "G" STREET is am~nded by adding the following
to read:
