Resolutions No, 86-34 and 86-137. which established the District. the annual
assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 966 (Daley Canyon Road
Improvement District) has been prepared and is attached to the Resolution,
The roll for 1989-90 totals $6.188.72 and is submitted to your Honorable
Body for acti on as requi red,

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNAROINO CONFIRMING THE
1989-90 ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 966. FOR THE
IMPROVEMENT OF DALEY CANYON ROAD. EASTERLY OF CHIQUITA LANE IN
THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO,
WHEREAS. by Resolution No, 86-137. the Mayor and
Common CounCil. found that the public interest. convenience, and
necessity required the formation of a street improvement and
construction district; and
WHEREAS. by said Resolution No. 86-137. the Mayor
and Common Council formed an assessment district known as
Assessment District No, 966 for the purpose of constructing
street improvements in the area of Daley Canyon Road. Easterly of
Chi qui ta Lane pursuant to the provi si ons of Chapter 12,90 of the
San Bernardino City Municipal Code; and
by Resolution No. 86-34.

WHEREAS.
Common Council declared that all the land included within the
boundaries of said district will be benefited by the construction
of said street improvements; and
WHEREAS. said Resolution No, 86-34 declared that an
annual assessment shall be levied on all land within the district
to provide funding for said construction; and
WHEREAS.
an Assessment Roll has been prepared
totalling $6.188.72. which sets forth the individual assessments
to be levied on each of the parcel~ of land within Assessment
District No. 966 for the fiscal year 1989-90;

1 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
2 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOllOWS:
3 SECTION 1, That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby
4 .find and determine that the proportionate costs to be levied
5 against the parcels of land within Assessment District No, 966
6 are correctly set forth on Assessme~t Roll No, 966 for the
7 fiscal year 1989-90. designated as Exhibit "A" and attached
8 hereto. and do hereby confirm said assessments.
9 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk 15 directed to cause a
10 copy of this Resolution to be transmitted to the Office of the
11 Auditor-Controller for the County of San Bernardino with the
12 request that the individual assessments be placed on the subject
13 1989-90 property tax bills for collection together with all
14 other property taxes.
15 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
16 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
17 Bernardino at a meeting thereof. held on the
