STAFF REPORT
The Engineering Division received a request to install
two-way stop signs at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and
Pennsylvania Street.
A study was conducted by the Traffic Engineering
Section, which indicated that there is sufficient justification
to warrant installation of stop signs on Magnolia Avenue, at
its intersection with Pennsylvania Street.
This matter was discussed by the Mayor's Traffic Safety
Committee at their May 10, 1989 meeting.
The Committee concurred with the findings of the study
and recommended the installation of a two-way stop for traffic
on Magnolia Avenue.
We recommend that the installation of these stop signs
be approved.

2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 655 ENTITLED, IN PART, "A RESOLUTION.
3 DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS OR PORTIONS THEREOF AS THROUGH
HIGHWAYS. . "; AND PROVIDING THAT PENNSYLVANIA STREET IS A
4 THROUGH HIGHWAY AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH MAGNOLIA AVENUE.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
Resolution No. 655, which designates certain
streets or portions thereof as through highways, Section 1, is
amended by adding Subsection 13.8 thereto, to read:

at its intersection with Magnolia Avenue."
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
