OES State Fire Engine #190 has been replaced by OES Engine #221, a
newer model.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN EXTENSION OF AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, ACTING BY AND THROUGH ITS DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE
OF EMERGENCY SERVICES, RELATING TO A TWO YEAR EXTENSION OF THE
TERM FOR USE OF THE STATE'S OES FIRE ENGINE NO. 221.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is
hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said
City an Extension of Agreement with the State of California,
acting by and through its Director of the Office of Emergency
Services, relating to a two year extension of the term for
use of the State's OES Fire Engine No. 221, a description
of which is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A", and incorporated
herein by reference as fully as though set forth at length. OES
221 replaced OES 190. A copy of the inventory is attached here-
to, marked Exhibit "B," and incorporated herein by reference as
fully as though set forth at length.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly

EXTENSION OF AGREEMENT
THIS .AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 30th day of Hay, 1988, by and
between the State of California, acting by and through its duly appointed,
qualified, and acting Director of the Office of Emergency Services,
hereinafter ca77ed STATE, and the SAN BERNARDINO F.D., through its duly
appointed, qualified, and acting officers, hereinafter called TRANSFEREE.
Ii I T N E SSE T H:
WHEREAS, under Agreement dated October 1, 1987, STATE transferred
possession of OES-221, along with certain equipment to TRANSFEREE for a period
of eight months, commencing October 1, 1987 and ending June 30, 1988, for a
consideration set forth therein; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the parties hereto to extend the term of
said agreement for an additional two-year period upon the same terms and
conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed as follows:
1. The paragraph of said agreement relating to term is hereby amended to
provide that the commencement date shall be June 30, 1988, and the expiration
date shall be June 30, 1990.
2. All other terms and conditions of said agreement shall remain
unchanged and in fu11 force and effect during the extension period provided
for herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this agreement as of
the date first hereinabove written:
