Section 2 of the Resolution specifically identifies the City Administrator or Acting City Administrator as the Executive Director of Emergency Services. This section was added to clarify the intent of Chapter 2.46 of the Municipal Code which uses the term Executive Director of Emergency Services but does not correlate it with a spe- cific City staff position. . Please address any questions on this Resolution to Richard McGreevy, Director of Emergency Services, telephone 5115/5490. 75-0264 . o 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 - ~ ~ o o o 1 2 RESOLUTION 3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, DIRECTOR AND REPRESENTATIVE OF 4 EMERGENCY SERVICES TO EXECUTE APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE FEDERAL 5 CIVIL DEFENSE ACT OF 1950, AS AMENDED, EFFECTIVE AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 86-256. 6 7 8 9 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The following named individuals are hereby 10 authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of San 11 Bernardino, a public entity established under the laws of the 12 State of California, applications and documents for the purpose 13 of obtaining financial assistance under the Federal Civil Defense 14 Act of 1950, as amended, (50 U.S.C. app. 2251-2303).
