Recommemted motion:
That the City Engineer and City Clerk are authorized to proceed with
initiating proceedings for the expansion of boundaries of Assessment
~istrict No. 976 (Pine & Belmont Area Landscape Maintenance Districtl
under the provisions of Chapter 12.90.060 of the San Bernardino Municipal
Code and Section 3113 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.

STAFF REPORT
A petition has been received by this office requesting the formation of an
assessment district for the maintenance of landscaping along the major streets
which border Tentative Tracts No. 13029 and 13036 and along the drainage
facility lying within the Tracts. These proposed subdivisions adjoin the
boundaries of Assessment District No. 976 which is already established for, the
same purposes and it is the purpose of this action to amend the boundaries of
the district by expanding same to include the new Tracts.
The signatures affixed to the referenced petition have been checked and found to
represent the owners of 100 percent of the, area of the property lying within
the proposed expanded area liable to be assessed for the' proposed maintenance.
The developer will be required to up-front the cost of the proceedings for the
expansion of the District.
