Synopsis of Previous Council ection:
The tentative agreement reached on all substantive issues approxi-
mately two weeks prior to the bingo parlor opening has now been
reduced to final legal language acceptable to all sides (see at-
tached agreement). The adoption process calls for both the City
and County to consider and approve on Monday, and the San Manuel
Tribal Council to consider and approve on Tuesday, and the official
signing ceremony to take place at noon on Thursday. Please see
attached report.
Recommended motion:
To adopt the proposed settlement agreement in principle and
authorize and direct the Mayor and City Council Indian Bingo
Committee to execute and sign said agreement upon approval by
the County of San Bernardino and the San Manuel Band of Mission
Indians.
