Variance No. 85-24 and the proposed vacation of
east of Conejo Drive were continued from the
meeting of September 11, 1986 at the request of
owner, applicant and adjacent property owners.
A subsequent meeting was to be held on September 25, 1986,
however, the representatives from Eldorado Bank were unable
to attend. In a telephone conversation with Bob Nichols on
September 16, 1986, it was my impression that Eldorado Bank
was going to withdraw their request ,for both the street
vacation and the,Variance. The building in question then
would be relocated to conform with all applicable ordinance
requirements.

Gentlemen:
At the meeting of the Mayor and Common Council held on
September 8, 1986, the proposed vacation of 17th Street, east
of Conejo Drive, and the appeal on the Planning Commission's
decision of denial of Variance No. 85-24, to waive Section
19.12.060 to allow an encroachment into a setback area in the
R-3-l200 Multiple Family Residential District, were considered.
Pursuant to the request of property owners, both these
items were continued to ,.nn p m., Mnnd~Yr Octnb~6.'19~
in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 300 North "D" Street,
San Bernardino, California. Property owners are to be notified
again that the extension of time was granted.
