Recommended motion:
That the City Engineer and City Clerk are authorized to proceed with
initiating proceedings for the establishment of an assessment district
under the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino Municipal
Code and that the City Engineer is directed to prepare an Engineer's
Report for the proposed improvement of a frontage road in the Verdemont
area located Southeasterly of Cable Canyon Road, in the City of San
Bernardino.

STAFF REPORT
A petition has been received by this office requesting the
formation of an assessment district for dedication and improve-
ment of a frontage road in the Verdemont area, Southerly of
Cable Canyon Road. After dedication, the assessment will
include all construction costs relative to the improvement of
the road. The signatures affixed to the referenced petition
have been checked and found to represent the owners of 100
percent of the area of the property lying within the proposed
boundaries of the district to be asessed for the proposed
improvement. There has been a deposit made to the project by
Campeau Corporation in the amount of $20,000.00 for the
development of the road.
