Synopsis of Previous Council action:
On June 9, 1986, approved the listing of the helicopters for sale and agreed that
the proceeds be utilized in the purchase of fire department budget items.
That the sale of the helicopters be approved and that the
proceeds be allocated for purchase of fire department
equipment as follows:

STAFF REPORT
The two helicopters and spare parts were listed for sale with three weekly air-
craft magazines for two months.
Six bids were received:

The high bid is an acceptable amount and I recommend approval. The high
bidder. Jim Smith of West Farm Air. was contacted and he indicated that
he would met our requirement of payment in full when the ships were picked
up. which will be within thirty days from the date of approval by the mayor
and council.
In accordance with the council action of June 9 to utilize the proceeds
from the sale of the helicopters for fire department budget items. I
request the following items be approved for purchase.
