Funding will include the Boys' Club, Family Service Agency, Merri-Mixers, Frazee Center, Rolling Start and the four programs of Casa Ramona, with funds to come from 1985-86 CDBG Contingency Account. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENTS WITH THE BOYS' CLUB OF SAN BERNARDINO, INC., FAMILY SERVICES, MERRI-MIXERS, FRAZEE COMMUNITY CENTER, ROLLING START, INC., AND CASA RAMONA, INC., RELATING TO A REINSTATEMENT OF FUNDING FOR THESE SOCIAL SERVICES PROGRAMS AT THE 1985-1986 LEVEL ON A MONTH-TO-MONTH BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF THREE MONTHS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said City an Amendment to Agreement with Boys' Club of San Bernardino, Inc., Family Services, Merri-Mixers, Frazee Community Center, Rolling Start, Inc., and Cas a Ramona, Inc., relating to a reinstatement of funding for these social service programs at the 1985-1986 level on a month-to-month basis for a period of three months, copies of which are attached hereto, marked as Exhibits "A" through "G", respectively, and incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth at length. Recitals. 10 A. City and Service Organization entered into an 11 agreement on November 15, 1984, relating to providing space for 12 programs benefiting the youth of the community. 13 B. City and Service Organization now desire to amend 14 the agreement to provide for a month-to-month extension of the 15 Agreement pending further action of the Mayor and Common Council. 16 2. Amendments. 17 A. The term of the agreement is extended mcnth-to-month 18 commencing July 1, 1986, and continuing to such date as may be 19 determined by the Mayor and Common Council. 20 B. City shall pay to Service Organization actual costs 21 not to exceed ONE THOUSAND THRE HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX DOLLARS AND 22 "THIRTY-THREE CENTS ($1,366.33) for any month during which this 23 amendment continues in effect upon presentation to the City of an 24 invoice itemizing the expenses incurred by Boy's Club of San 25 Bernardino, Inc., for operation of the above-cited programs. 26 City shall forthwith make payment to the Boys' Club of San 27 Bernardino, Inc. 28 3. City and Service Organization agree as follows: 1. Recitals. A. City and Service Organization entered into an agreement on November 15, 1984, relating to providing emergency assistance of food, clothing, medical and referrals to individuals in dire need. B. City and Service Organization now desire to amend the agreement to provide for a month-to-month extension of the Agreement pending further action of the Mayor and Common Council. 2. Amendments. A. The term of the agreement is extended month-to-month commencing July 1, 1986, and continuing to such time as determined by the Mayor and Common Council. B. City shall pay to Service Organization actual costs "not to exceed FIVE HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE DOLLARS AND THIRTY-THREE CENTS ($583.33) for any month during which this amendment continues in effect upon presentation to the City of an invoice itemizing the expenses incurred by Frazee Community Center for operation of the above cited programs. City shall forthwith make payment to Frazee Community Center. 3. Other Provisions. Recitals . 10 A. City and Service Organization entered into an 11 agreement on November 21, 1984, re lating to providing the 12 following services to the deaf: a relay service; information and 13 a referral service, with up to date infor~ation; training on use 14 of T.D.D. and use of sign language. 15 B. City and Service Organization now desire to aw.end 16 the agreement to provide for a month-to-month extension of the 17 Agreement pending further action of the Mayor and Common Council. 18 2. Amendments. 19 A. The term of the agreement is extended month-to-moLth 20 commencing July 1, 1986, and to such time as further action may 21 be taken by the Mayor and Common Council. 22 B. City shall pay to Service Organization actual costs 23 not to exceed SIX HUNDRED THIRTY-TWO DOLLARS AND EIGHTY-THREE 24 CENTS ($632.83) any month during which this amendment continues 25 in effect upon presentation to City of an invoice itemizing the 26 expenses incurred by Rolling Start for the operation of the 27 above-cited programs. The parties agree as follows: 1 . Rec itals . (a) City and Casa Ramona entered into an agreement on August 18, 1983, for the operation of a drop-in center known as "Ramona Drop-In Center" located at 1524 West 7th Street. (b) The parties desire to amend the agreement to provide for a month-to-month extension of the agreement pending further action of the Mayor and Common Council. 2. Term. The term of the agreement is extended month-to- month, commencing July 1, 1986, and to such time as shall be determined by the Mayor and Common Council. 3. Payment. During the term of this amendment, City agrees 19 to pay to Casa Ramona actual costs of operation, not to exceed 20 the sum of THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS AND 21 EIGHT CENTS ($3,375.08) each month in which this amendment is in 22 force, upon presentation to City of a monthly invoice itemizing 23 the expenses incurred by Cass Ramona for, or to be incurred for, 24 the operation of the drop-in center, City shall forthwith make 25 payment to Casa Ramona. 26 4.
