Section 186 of the City Charter sets forth the procedure for annually
determining the salaries for Safety employees of the Police and Fire
Departments. In accordance with Section 186, the salary adjustments to
be effective 8/1/86 have been deter.mined and are set forth in the
amendment to Resolution 6429. For your additional information,
percentage and dollar increases at the top step are noted below.
