Subject: Overlay Zone - Architectural and Development Standards _
Fortieth Street and Sierra Way, Northwest Corner
Date: August 4, 1986
The public hearing for the Overlay Zone at Fortieth Street and
Sierra Way needs to be continued until the Mayor and Council meeting
of August 18, 1986 in order to provide sufficient notification to
property owners and the paper of local circulation.
Staff, unfortunately, did not have sufficient time to legally
advertise the proposed ordinance amendment in the manner which is
prescribed by the Municipal Code. To satisfy the provisions of
the Code, a minimum of ten days notice is required, therefore, the
item needs to be continued until the Mayor and Council meeting of
August 18, 1986.
