STAFF REPORT
This proposed contract action is for val'loussizes of sport trophies and IIICd21s
to be uti] ized in sports programs conducted by the Park, Recl'eation and COllulluni ty
Services Department. (Estimated number of awards is 2,925.) In coordination tlith
the department specifications were prepared. published and furnished to vendors,
ten (10) vendors were sol icited, b/o (2) bids were received. Bids were publ icly
opened and declared .on June 26, 1986. The following is a sunmlary of bids received.

3 TROPHIES AND MEDALS TO BE UTILIZED IN SPORTS PROGRAMS CONDUCTED 8Y
THE PARKS, RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT IN
4 ACCORDANCE WITH BID SPECIFICATION NO. F-86-30.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
6 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
7 SECTION 1. Western Trophy is the lowest and best bidder for
8 the furnishing and delivery of various sport trophies and medals
9 to be utilized in sports programs conducted by the Parks,
10 Recreation and Community Services Department in accordance with
1] Bid Specification No. F-86-30 for the total amount of $13,953.90;
]2 pursuant to this determination, the purchasing Agent is hereby
]3 authorized and directed to issue a purchase order for said sport
]4 trophies and medals to said lowest and best bi~der; such award
]5 shall only be effective upon the issuance of a purchase order by
]6 the Purchasing Agent; and all other bids therefor are hereby
]7 rejected.
]8 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
