STAFF REPORT
Approval has been given for development of an auto center, between Orange
Show Road and EI Camino Real, and South of Century Avenue.
In order to provide greater identification for this development, it has been
proposed to change the name of Orange Show Road, westerly of Route I-215
Freeway, to Auto Plaza Drive. The attached resolution makes this change
effective 9-1-86.
A portion of this section of Orange Show Road is within the City of Colton.
They have been advised of this proposed street name cha~ge, and have not.
responded to date.
Caltrans will need to revise their freeway directional signing to indicate
Orange Show Road to the east and Auto Plaza Drive to the west. A request
has been submitted to Caltrans to perform these revisions. We anticipate
these revisions will be done at Caltrans' expense.

RESQLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CHANGING
THE NAME OF ORANGE SHOW ROAD FROM THE 1-215 FREEWAY TO THE
SOUTHWEST CITY LIMIT LINE TO AUTO PLAZA DRIVE WITHIN THE COR-
PORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, WITH AN EFFECTIVE
DATE OF SEPTEMBER 1, 1986.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE:
That the name of Orange Show Road from
the I-215 Freeway to the Southwest City Limit Line, be, and the
same is hereby changed to read Auto Plaza Drive, with an
effective date of September 1, 1986.
SECTION TWO:
The City Clerk of the City of San
Bernardino shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution to
be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County
of San Bernardino.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a meeting thereof held on the
day of , 1986, by the following
