Synopsis of Previous Council action:
Resolution 83-273 was approved by the Mayor and Common Council in August'1983 to
establish an Agreement between the City and School District for delivery of lunches
and snacks to the City's Delmann Heights Head Start Center.
Resolution 84-306 was approved in August 1984 and 85-240 in July 1985 to extend
the agreement for an additional year.

STAFF REPORT
The present agreement, Resolution 83-273 as amended has worked satisfactorily. There
is no change except to extend the Agreement for another year until June 3D, 1987 and
to raise the price of preparation of student lunches from 80~ to 82~.
Recommend approval.

RESOLUTION NO.
2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN
3 BERNARDINO CITY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT RELATING TO THE DELTVERY
OF TYPE A LUNCHES AND SCHEDULE B SNACKS TO CITY'S DELMANN HEIGHTS
4 HEAD START CENTER, TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT FOR AN
ADDITIONAL ONE YEAR PERIOD AND INCREASE THE STUDENT LUNCHES TO
5 EIGHTY-TWO CENTS EACH.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
7 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
8 SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is hereby
9 authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said City
10 Amendment No.3 to the Agreement with the San Bernardino City unif'ed
11 school District relating to the delivery of Type A Lunches and
12 Schedule B Snacks to City's Delmann Heights Head Start Center, to
13 extend the term of the agreement for an additional one year
14 period and increase the student lunches to eighty-two cents
15 each, a copy of which is attacbed hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and
16 incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth at
17 length.

19 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San

The Food Service Agreement between the CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO (for Delmann
Heights C1.i.ld Care center) and the SAN BERNMDINO CITY UNIFIm SOKOL
DISTRICT, dated July 20, 1983, is hereby amended in the following manner:

a. Paragraph 4.
The cost of the student lunches is incr-~ to 82(: each.
b. TERM:
The term of this Agreement is extended fran July 1, 1986
through June 30, 1987.
2. All otl1er terms and conditions of the 1Igree.ue.lt described herein
shall remain in full force and effect.
