STAFF REPORT
BID SPEC: F-86-29
The proposed contract is for the complete demolition of two - one story buildings
and one - two story building. At the request of the Superintendent of the Build-
ing and Safety Department a formal bid was administered for complete demolition of
the site. Bids were publicly opened and declared on 6/19/86. Two bids were re-
ceived. that of J,B.J, Company and Warren Duncan Contractor. The lack of bidding
is attributed to busy schedules of demolition contractors at this time. The fol-
lowing is a summary of bids received,

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID TO J.B.J.
COMPANY FOR THE DEMOLITION OF BUILDINGS AT 969 N. "F" STREET IN ACCORDANCE
WITH BID SPECIFICATION F-86-29~
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. J,B.J, Company is the lowest responsible bidder for the
Demolition of buildings at 969 N. "F" Street in accordance with Bid Spec-
ification F-86-29 for the total amount of $22.796.00; pursuant to this de-
termination, ,the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized and directed to issue
a purchase order for said Demolition of buildings at 969 N, "F" Street to
said lowest responsible bidder; such award shall only be effective upon the
issuance of a purchase order by the Purchasing Agent; and all other bids
therefor are hereby rejected.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at .a
