1. RESOLUTION RELATING TO PLAN CHECKING BY PRIVATE
CONSULTANT - Committee recommended approval.

SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENTS/PRIORITY OF USE - Continued.
3. POLICY - ESTABLISHMENT OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS-
Item tabled. No action required.
4. CITY HALL OFFICE SPACE STUDY The Committee
recomended approval of the budgeted amounts to prepare the
IRS Building for occupancy and the additional temporary hours
required. The City Administrator was directed to proceed
"post haste" and assure that Purchasing treat this as an
urgency item since it is the key to the total project.
5. ORDINANCE RE OUTDOOR SALES AND DISPLAYS The
Committee recommended that Item E, paragraph 5.22.030 be
changed to read: "Displays must be limited to customer
entrances. "Committee recommended that Section 7 be deleted
and directed the Planning Director and City Attorney to
coordinate with auto dealers to prepare a new ordinance.
6. STREET PARKING - RECREATIONAL VEHICLES - The Commit-
tee recommended Section I, paragraph 15.52.020, F, to read
"Any occupancy or human habitation of anyone recreational
vehicle, mobile home or camper shall not exceed thirty days
during any calendar year."

Synopsis of Previous Council action:
At the meeting of the Mayor and Common Council held
June 2, 1986, the City Hall Office Space Study was
referred to the Legislative Review Committee.
Recommended moti.on:
That an expenditure of $27,281 be approved for the
purpose of awarding a contract for the renovation of
the IRS building located at 555 Sierra Way and the
purchase of materials for the relocation of the Parks,
Recreation and Community Services Department, Adminis-
trative Offices.

RENOVATION OF THE IRS BUILD~
Task break down and cost estimate for renovation of the IRS
Building at Seccombe Lake. The rehab and renovation of the
IRS Building at 555 Sierra Way for the administrative office
of Parks, Recreation and Community Services is as follows:
TASKS
A. CITY FORCES
Demolition and removal of materials, .ceiling tiles,
carpet, removal of electrical floor' outlets 'and old
light fixtures, demolition of walls.
Replace ceiling tiles, light fixtures, HV~C duck work,
repair plumbing, fabrication of counters,. installation
of walls, painting throughout, installation of conduit
for telephone system.
B. CONTRAC~
Core drilling, carpet installation, window installation,
door and lock installation. 480 hours of temporary man
power at '11.00 per hour for a total of $5,280.
C. BUILDING MATERIALS
Paint, dry wall, light fixtures, electrical hot water
heater, ceiling tiles, installation materials, metal
studs, portable dividers, power poles, misc. items,
plumbing fixtures, sinks, toilet accessories, bowls,
urinals, stools, etc. floor tile and base cove.

This renovation cost does not include telephone or radio
communication installation cost.
