File No.:6.1494 Dept: Public Works/Engineering Date: July I, 1986 Synopsis of Previous Council action: Allocation of $42,000 approved to finance the cost for this addition. 03-17-86 -- Plans approved and authorization granted to advertise for bids. 05-19-86 -- Resolutuon 86-188 adopted awarding contract for $34,000 to Mountain View Construction for the construction of restroom addition for Elk's Field. Recommended motion: That Change Order Number One to the contract with Mountain View Construction for the construction of restroom bui14ing at Elk's Field, in accordance with Plan 6949, be approved. Change Order One is for 160 feet of 2-inch waterline to be installed to provide adequate water supply to the building. The Change Order will be accomplished on a time and material basis for an amount not to exceed $2,000.00. During the construction phase this data was discovered to be incorrect and the building is serviced with a I-inch line, which is inadequate. In order to provide adequate water to the new facility it is necessary to install approximately 160' of 2" water line. This change is to be done on a time and material basis and will increase the contract cost in an amount not to exceed $2,000 from $34,000 to not more than $36,000. 75.0264
