During the Mid-Year Budget Review with the City Council, it
was decided that a temporary job freeze should be instituted
in order to develop sufficient balances to assist in the
preparation of the 1985-86 Budget and to prepare for -the
likelihood that revenue sharing funds will be reduced or
eliminated.
Only requests to fill critical and emergency-type positions
should be submitted to this office with complete justifica-
tion as to why they need to be filled at this time.
