ORDINANCE NO.
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
2.50.010 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE TO PERMIT
AMENDMENTS TO THE CIVIL SERVICE RULES AND REGULATIONS BY
RESOLUTION.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Section 250 of the Charter authorizes the Civil
Service Board to adopt Rules and Regulations subject to approval
of the Mayor and Common Council.
WHEREAS, from time to time the civil Service Board desires
to amend its Rules and Regulations.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Section 2.50.010 of the San Bernardino
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"2.50.010
Approval
Civil Service Rules and Regulations of the Civil Service
Board of the City were adopted by said Board on the 20th day of
November, 1959. All subsequent amendments to those Rules and
Regulations are on file in the office of the City Clerk. All
future amendments to the Civil Service Rules and Regulations
shall be adopted by resolution of the Mayor and Common Council."
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
