Synopsis of PtlIVlous Council action:
7-1-85 --- Resolution No. 85-235, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council,
found that the pUblic interest, convenience and neceSSity required
the formation of a landscaping maintenance district.
6-3-85 --- Resolution No. 85-197, adopted by the Mayor and Common Council,
declared that all the land included within the boundaries of
said district will be benefited by the construction and maintenance
of said landscaping.
Recommended motion:
Adopt the Resolution.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE 1988-8
ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ASSESSME.T DISTRICT NO. 968, LANOSCAPIN

COMMERCENTER WEST.

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 85-235, the Mayor and Common
5 Council found that the public interest, convenience and
6 necessity required the formation of a landscaping maintenance
7 district; and
8 WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 85-235, the Mayor and
9 Common Council formed an assessment district known as Assessment
10 0 i s t r i c t No. 968 for the pur p 0 s e 0 f pro v i din g 1 and s cap i n g
11 maintenance in the area of Airport Drive between Commercenter
'12 East and Commercenter West pursuant to the provisions of Chapter
13 12.90 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code; and
14 WHEREAS, by Resol uti on No. 85-197, the Mayor and Common
15 Council declared that all the land included within the boundaries
16 of said district will be benefited by the maintenance of said
17 landscaping; and
18 WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 85-197 declared that an
19 annual assessment shall be levied on all land within the district
20 to provide funding for said landscaping maintenance and the
21 administration thereof; and
22 WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totalling
23 $9,180.11
which sets forth the individual assessments to be
24 levied on each of the parcels of land within Assessment District
25 No. 968 for the fiscal year 1988-89;
