MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
JOINT ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
OCTOBER 29, 1999
SANTA FE DEPOT
1170 WEST THIRD STREET
SAN BERNARDINO, CA
This is the time and place set for a joint adjourned regular meeting
of the Mayor and Common Council and Community Development
Commission of the City of San Bernardino from the joint adjourned
regular meeting held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 21, 1999, in the
Council Chambers of the San Bernardino City Hall, 300 North "D" Street,
San Bernardino, California.
The City Clerk has caused to be posted the order of the
adjournment of said meeting held on October 21, 1999, and has on file
in the Office of the City Clerk, an affidavit of said posting together with a
copy of said order which was posted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October
27, 1999, on or near the door of the place at which said meeting was
held.
The joint adjourned regular meeting of the Mayor and Common
Council and Community Development Commission was called to order
by Mayor Valles at 2:09 p.m., Friday, October 29, 1999, in the Santa Fe
Depot, 1170 West Third Street, San Bernardino, California.
ROLL CALL
Roll call was taken by City Clerk Clark with the following being
present: Mayor Valles; Council Members Estrada, Schnetz, Anderson,
Miller; Senior Assistant City Attorney Carlyle, City Clerk Clark, City
Administrator Wilson.
Self introductions were made by those in attendance.
Associate Planner Deborah Woldruff introduced Wayne Donaldson,
Architect, with Milford Wayne Donaldson, FAIA, Inc., Greg Roberson,
Architect with Milford Wayne Donaldson, FAIA, Inc., and Ian Davidson,
with IDLA Landscape, to the Mayor and Council.

Mr. Donaldson gave a brief history of the San Bernardino Santa Fe
Station, followed by a site walk-through. Greg Roberson discussed the
scope of work and schedule, and Ian Davidson gave an overview of the
opportunities and constraints of the project, including structural,
transportation and heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
The presentations were followed by a group discussion.
ADJOURNMENT
At 4:05 p.m., the meeting adjourned. The next regular meeting of
the Mayor and Common Council and Community Development
Commission will be held at 8:00 a.m., Monday, November 1, 1999, in the
Council Chambers of City Hall, 300 North "D" Street, San Bernardino,
California.
