CITY OF SAN BERNQlDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
The Southern California Edison Company has requested an easement for pole
anchors across a portion of City owned land located at the Northwest
corner of 40th Street and Mt. View Avenue for the purpose of anchoring a
pole which is to be relocated due to the recent widening of 40th Street,
West of Mt. View Avenue and the resulting improvement thereof.
The attached map indicates the area of the requested easement.
Upon execution, this document is to be returned to this office for
transmittal to the Edison Company for recording.
We recommend the easement be granted.

2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO GRANTING
AN EASEMENT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, A
3 CORPORATION, OVER CITY OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 'THE NORTHWEST
CORNER OF FORTIETH STREET AND MT. VIEW AVENUE.

5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF
6 THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That the Ci ty of San Bernardi no execute
8 a Grant of Easement to Southern California Edison Company, a
9 corporation, to construct, use, maintain, alter, add to,
10 repair, replace, inspect, relocate and/or remove at any time
11 and from time to time, stub poles, guy wires, anchors and
12 other appurtenant fixtures and/or equipment made for anchorage
13 purposes.

SECTION 2. That the said Grant of Easement referred
15 to herein, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit
16 "A", and is hereby referred to and made a part hereof as full y
17 as though set out at length herein, is hereby approved.

SECTION 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the
19 City of San Bernardino are hereby authorized and directed to
20 execute said Grant of Easement on behalf of the City of San
21 Bernardi no.
