Synopsis of Ptevious Council action:
On March 7, 1988, the Mayor and Common Council adopted the FY 1988/1989
CDBG Program Mix and authorized staff to solicit CDBG funding proposals
for the 1988/1989 fiscal year.
Recommended motion:
That the Mayor and Common Council establish May 16, 1988 at 3:00 p.m.,
as the date and time certain for the FY 1988/1989 CDBG Public Hearing
for consideration of various proposals requesting financial (CDBG)
assistance,

STAFF REPORT
On March 7, 1988, the Mayor and Common Council approved and
adopted the FY 1988/1989 CDBG Program Mix and authorized staff
to solicit proposals, The published time period for submission
of'proposals was March 8, 1988 to March 29, 1988 by 4:00 p.m.
Some thirty-eight (38) proposals were received and are
currently under review by the Community Development citizen
Advisory Committee, The Committee will submit to the Mayor and
Common Council recommendations for funding under the fair
housing, public services and capital improvement categories of
the approved Program Mix. These recommendations will be
considered by the Mayor and Common Council during the Public
Hearing and approved, modified or rejected, as appropriate,
