PROPOSED SCHOOL AT STREET - Item continued. The fees with the Water Board and Mr. Gene Klatt of Public Works the committee. LITTLE LEAGUE DRIVE/BELMONT School District will discuss a follow-through meeting with before returning this item to 2. TWO-YEAR DOG LICENSES - The Committee reviewed and recommended, in concept, the two-year dog license plan. The committee recommended this item be set for Public Hearing on May 16, 1988. 3. HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN The Committee received a comprehensive report from Mr. Robbins giving the status of the city's program. The committee recommended establishment of a comprehensive program to educate the public and city employees. A program that would inform the public on how to handle and dispose of hazardous and house- hold waste, where it can be taken, etc. Staff will provide a report to the Committee on May 19th 1988. 4. ORDINANCE ADDING MC CHAPTER 2.80 TO PROVIDE NOTICE TO THE MAYOR PRO TEMPORE OF THE ABSENCE OF THE MAYOR and 5. ORDINANCE ADDING MC CHAPTER 2.90 TO PROVIDE FOR NOTICE TO THE MAYOR OF THE ABSENCE OF A COUNCIL MEMBER. . , o o o o The Committee recommended both ordinances be subjects of discussion at the one-day Mayor-council meeting. The City Attorney will prepare a Memorandum of Understanding. 6. THRESHOLD FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW PLANNING DEPARTMENT ITEM CONTINUED. The Committee requested Ms. Siracusa to re-review the Discretionary Review Process and consider: 1. Exemption of residential structures using a distance requirement 2. Exemption of specific areas such as RDA 3. Use of the C.U.P. guidelines. The intent was to not create a slowdown of commercial processing.
