Dear Mr. Lightburn:
This is in response to your request, dated April 22, 1988,
requesting that the Mayor and Council reconsider the action
taken at the April 4th Council Meeting relative to Condition-
al Use Permit No. 88-4.
Your letter was received by the City Clerk's Office at 1:17
p.m. on April 22, 1988. The deadline for the Regular Council
Agenda for the meeting of May 2nd was Thursday, April 21st at
4:00 p.m.
On September 4, 1984, the Mayor and Council adopted a policy
which states that any major policy item which has already
been debated and a decision made, will be placed as the last
item on the Council Agenda if a request for reconsideration
is sought.
In addition, according to Council Rules, your request for
reconsideration would be placed as the last item on the
agenda (prior to Closed Session items) and a motion would
have to be made to reconsider the previous action taken with
respect to CUP 88-4. If an affirmative vote is cast, then
your request for reconsideration would be set for a hearinq
four weeks from that date. The four-week period is required
in order to allow sufficient time for the Planning Department
to re-notify all property owners within 500 feet of the
project.
Please inform this office, in writing, of vour desires in
connection with this matter.
