STAFF REPORT
Bids for this project were opened at 2:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, 4-26-88.
A total of 5 bids were received, ranging from $32,520.00
to $58,7l2.00. The low bid of $32,520.00 is 12% over the
Engineer's Estimate of $28,600.00.
Listed below is an estimate of the total estimated
project cost, based upon the actual low bid price:

we recommend that a contract be awarded to the low bidder.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A
CONTRACT TO MLADEN GRBAVAC CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR INSTALLATION
OF A RELIEF SEWER IN CIRCLE ROAD, NORTH OF EDGEHILL ROAD.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

lowest responsible bidder for:
SECTION 1.
Mladen Grbvac Construction Company is the
Installation of Relief Sewer in

Circle Road, north of Edgehill Road, in accordance with Plan No.
7450, for the total amount of $32,520.00, a contract is awarded
to said bidder accordingly, but such award shall be effective
8

only upon the contract being fully executed by the parties; all
11
other bids therefore are hereby rejected; and the Mayor is hereby
12

authorized and directed to execute said contract on behalf of the
City; a copy of the contract is attached hereto, marked Exhibit
"A" and incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set
15
forth at length.

SECTION 2. Execution and Amendments. This contract and
any amendments or modifications thereto shall not take effect or

full execution.
