STAFF REPORT
The Engineering Division was requested by the Housing
Authority of San Bernardino County to restrict parking on the
south side of Base Line Street between Waterman Avenue and
La Junta Street, which is 1650 feet easterly of Waterman Avenue.
The Housing Authority owns and manages the 254 unit complex
known as Waterman Gardens, which is adjacent to the south side
of Base Line Street.
This matter was discussed at the Mayor's Traffic Safety
Committee meeting on April 13, 1988. Since there is adequate
off-street parking available for the housing complex, the Com-
mittee concurred with the "No Parking Any Time" request on the
south side of Base Line Street between Waterman Avenue and
La Junta Street. The parking restriction will not adversely
affect the parking demand in the area.
