STAFF REPORT
The ?osi~ion of Cable Television Coordinator was cr~Qt~d in
19B6 as a one person operation responsibl~ for establishing
a pu~lic, education, and government television access channel
:m1 a data base for;? 11';Jit:!l PBX telephone 'Jt~itch~s. The
Dosition has now grown to a staff of 6 full-time, 6 part-time
and 6 intern positions, responsible for the day to day
ooeration of the production and programming for the Community
~ccess Channel and the telecommunications data base.
The duties, staff, recommended title and salary compare
favorably with the positions surveyed in other cities.
Additional costing for ~y 88-89 would be $3,768.
