STAFF REPORT
Administration requested that the Personnel Office study
certain positions for consideration of mid-management status.
It was found that because of internal reorganization and re-
alignment of supervisory duties that the positions listed in
the attached resolution now meet the definition of a mid-
management employee. It is recommended that they now be
changed from the general employee bargaining unit to the mid
management unit. The Unions involved were consulted and
accept the change.
The positions being deleted are no longer active due to the
reOrganizations mentioned above.

CUSTODIAN, SENIOR PARKING CONTROL CHECKER, SURVEY PARTY
CHIEF, CATV PRODUCTION SPECIALIST I, CATV PRODUCTION
SPECIALIST II, CATV PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR, CATV PRO-,
GRAMMING SUPERVISOR, STAFF ANALYST III AND SPECIAL
OLYMPICS COORDINATOR; AND DELETING THE POSITIONS OF SURVEY
ENGINEER AND COMMUNITY SERVICES SUPERVISOR EFFECTIVE JULY
4, 1988.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Resolution No. 10584, Section 17.6, Sub-
section (A) is amend~d to read as follows:
R(A) Middle-Management employees, as defined in
section 3 hereof, shall include those individuals per-
forming the functions or occupying the positions as listed
below and are a part of the Middle-Management Group:
