RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING mE
EXECUTION OF A PIGGYBACK PURCHASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AND CREST CHEVROLET FOR mE PURCHASE OF TWO (2)
ONE-TON EXTENDED CAB AND CHASSIS TRUCKS FOR THE ANIMAL
CONTROL DEPARTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY mE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF mE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council on April 16, 2001 awarded a
purchase order to Crest Chevrolet of San Bernardino, California for the furnishing and delivery of
one (1) Extended Cab and Chassis trucks for the Animal Control Department; that Crest
Chevrolet of San Bernardino, California has agreed to provide a piggyback purchase for the
furnishing and delivery of two (2) additional cab and chassis trucks at the same price as previously
purchased for the total amount of $49,781.38; pursuant to this determination, the Purchasing
Manager is hereby authorized and directed to issue a piggyback purchase order for said two (2) cab
and chassis trucks to said Crest Chevrolet of San Bernardino; such award shall only be effective
upon the issuance of a Purchase Order by the Purchasing Manager.
SECTION 2. The authorization to execute the above referenced purchase order and
lease-purchase are rescinded if it is not issued within sixty (60) days of the passage of this
resolution.
