For all past municipal elections, the City has contracted with
the Registrar of Voters' Office to provide supplies and
services. We have been working with the County Registrar of
Voters Office to prepare for the 1993 Municipal Election and need
formal adoption of the attached resolution which will permit the
County Registrar of Voters to furnish the services and supplies
which will be needed.
Recommend approval of the attached Resolution.

2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REQUESTING THAT
THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO PERMIT
3 THE COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS TO RENDER SERVICES TO THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO, RELATING TO A MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON
4 MARCH 2, 1993.
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNRDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1, As authorized by Section 22003 of the Election
8 Code of the State of California, the Mayor and Common Council
9 request that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San
10 Bernardino permit the County Registrar of Voter to furnish
11 services and supplies to this City for use in the Primary
12 Municipal Election to be held on March 2, 1993. The services and
13 supplies to be provided are a data processing tape containing the
14 name and addresses of all registered voters in the City of San
15 Bernardino, four indexes per polling place, polling place roster
16 indexes, and other services as may be required by the City Clerk
for the conduct of the election.

SECTION 2.
The City shall reimburse the County of

20 upon presentation of a properly approved bill.

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall transmit certified copies
22 of this resolution to the Board of Supervisor and the Registrar of
23 Voters of the Coun~y of San Bernardino.
