The Agency I s request is based upon the desire to address the following problems that now exist with the current parking situation: o Customers and employees of the Agency find it difficult to park when a special event takes place in the downtown area. o There is no provision for handicapped parking near the EDA building. o Vehicles often park adjacent to the access hindering deliveries to the Agency's building. ramp, The Traffic Engineering Section has reviewed this request and has no objections to reserving these 12 parking spaces for the exclusive use of EDA. Only those vehicles bearing an auth- orized parking sticker, or handicapped placard, will be allowed to park in those 12 spaces. One of these 12 spaces will be designated for the handicapped, and another as a loading zone. Parking stickers will be issued by the Facilities Management Department. It should be pointed out, that designation of the proposed handicapped parking stall will resul t in the elimination of an adjoining space. This will bring to 13 the total number of currently unregulated parking stalls that will be taken out of service for the public. 9-24-92 '5-0264 H-LCJON ~ --':.:_~ . - - - - ..J oCt I- LU Cl Cl ~ U oCt l- I- oCt ti1 (f) . -W => ~ o => 0::: ~ ()) 19 Z ~ 0::: <{ 0.... -.J W > W -.J ::r f- LO o a... 2 a...<( :JO::: "' '.' . ..' ." . . ..' .': . ." . . . . . . . ~ . . .: .' . . - . ,,, ~ ~i ~ ~~ I ~! ~j' ~~~ ~) 't- ~ ~ Ii ["c1= ~ 1 t ! ~ " 10\ ; t & ,', t , .". . ~ ,:: :':":i:<~~~>:/< , " ......
