Synopsis of Previous Council action:
On September 29, 1992, the Mayor and Common Council approved that
the salary survey of November 1991 be fully implemented effective
July 1, 1992; and, that the Director of Personnel be instructed
to prepare the necessary amendments to Resolution 6413.

Approve the attached amendments to Resolution 6413, sections
Twelve and Fourteen.

CITY OF SAN BERLlRDINO - REQUEST OJR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
section 2, B, of the Management and Confidential Employee
Compensation and Benefits Plan, Resolution No. 89-129, provides
that a salary survey shall be conducted in odd-numbered years,
beginning in 1989, by an independent firm selected by the Mayor
and Common Council.
For the 1991 salary survey, the Mayor and Common Council approved
the selection of COMP PLUS on October 7, 1991. On December 16,
1991, the Mayor and Common Council received and filed the
Management/confidential Compensation Study from COMP PLUS.
On September 29, 1992, the Mayor and Common Council approved that
the salary survey of November 1991 be fully implemented effective
July 1, 1992.
The attached amendments to Resolution 6413, Sections Twelve and
Fourteen, incorporate the above-mentioned Management and
Confidential salary increases, effective July 1, 1992.
