STAFF REPORT
AUTHORIZATION FOR OUT OF STATE
TRAVEL FOR AUDREE TAYLOR TO
ATTEND NATIONAL RECREATION AND
PARKS CONGRESS IN CINCINNATI, OHIO
ON OCTOBER 13-18, 1992.
Senior Recreation Supervisor Audree V. Jones-Taylor has
requested to attend the National Recreation and Park Congress
in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 13-18, 1992. Audree will be
representing the City of San Bernardino on behalf of the
Hershey National Track and Field Program as the State Chair.
The Hershey Youth Program provides a $4,000 grant annually to
the city to host the Southern California State Championships.
This conference will provide an educational opportunity and
allow the department to remain in tune with the latest trends
of the recreation profession. Attendance at the congress will
provide mutual benefit for the employee, the City and the
HerShey National Program. Hershey has agreed to cover
airfare, lodging, and meals for three days and the employee
has agreed to pay registration and lodging for two days.
Approval is recommended.
