STAFF REPORT
At the Council meeting of 8-17-92, authorization was
granted to develop an experimental diagonal (angle) parking plan
on Court Street, between "E" Street and "D" Street, for a period
of 6 months. Funding from tax increment funds, in the amount of
$17,600, was authorized to implement the plan.
Section 10.16.030 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code
authorizes angle parking to be established by resolution.
Resolution No. 9998, adopted on 10-20-69, establishes angle
parking on certain streets. The proposed resolution rescinds
Resolution No. 9998, but retains the angle parking presently
designated on these streets, and Court Street, between "E" Street
and "D" Street.
We recommend that the resolution be approved, in order to
authorize the establishment of angle parking previously approved
on 8--17--92.

2 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COW~ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO DETERMINING THE STREETS, OR PORTIONS THEREOF,
3 WHERE ANGLE PARKING IS PERMITTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
10.16.030 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO.
4 9998.
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1 :
In accordance with Section 10.16.030 of
the San Bernardino Municipal Code, angle parking shall be
on the following streets, or portions thereof, in the
BROADMOOR BOULEVARD
(a) At 39th Street, within the inside curvature
portion.
(b) At Avery Street within the inside curvature
portion.
COURT STREET
(a) Between "E" Street and "D" Street.

(a)
Along the frontage of Del Rosa Elementary School,
applicable to the north side only.
(19) SONORA STREET
(a) At Modesto Drive, within the inside curvature
portion.
SECTION 2: The City Traffic Engineer shall indicate
such places by causing the painting of lines upon the surface of
the roadway to indicate the proper angle for parking.
SECTION 3: Resolution No. 9998 is hereby rescinded.
