CITY OF SAN BERORDINO - REQUEST OR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
This Resolution confirms the Assessment Roll and approves the Assessment
Diagram Map No. 1005 for the maintenance of landscaping in portions of Cajon
Boulevard, Pepper Linden Drive, in easement areas located adjacent to and
Southeasterly of the Southeasterly line of Tract No. 14503-1, the Retention
Basin located in Tract No. 14503-1 and in easements granted for landscape
maintenance purposes on the recorded maps of Tracts 14503 and 14503-1.
On October 21. 1991, Resolution of Intention No. 91-434 was adopted which
instituted formal proceedings to form an assessment district in the Cajon
and Pepper Linden Area area for the maintenance of landscaping.
All the requirements of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code were fulfilled.
and on November 18, 1991 the Resolution Ordering work was adopted. The
charges for the establishment of the district total $2,706.80 which will be
paid from the up-front money deposited by the Developer.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT ROLL
NO.1005 FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF FUTURE LANDSCAPING IN PORTIONS OF CAJON
BOULEVARD AND PEPPER LINDEN DRIVE IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO. AND
APPROVING ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM MAP NO. 1005.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino
on October 21. 1991, adopted its Resolution of Intention No.
91-/.34, to
7 order the work described therein to be done under the provisions of Chapter

12.90 of the San Bernardino City Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council on October 21, 1991, approved
the Engineer's Report on the proposed assessment district, whi ch report
includes a proposed assessment roll and Assessment I>istrict Map relative to
Assessment District No. 1005; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention No. 91-434, the
City of San Bernardino proceeded without Notice and Hearing; and
WHEREAS, incidental expenses totaling $2,706.80 have been incurred
for the establishment of the district, which must be spread over the
individual parcels of said assessment district, the City has computed and set
forth in attached Exhibit "A" which is incorporated herein by reference the
first year assessment for each individual parcel, all of which are as set
forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto. is hereby declared to be the Assessment
District No. 1005 Roll for 1992-93 for the Cajon and Pepper Linden Area
Landscape Maintenance District.

NOW. THEREFORE, THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and
determine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of
land wi thin Assessment District No. 1005 ar'e correctly set forth on
Assessment Roll No. 1005 for the fiscal year 1992-93, Cajon and Pepper
Linden Area Landscape Maintenance District, designated as Exhibit "A" for
total costs of establishing the district which Exhibit is attached hereto and
is incorporated herein by reference, and the Mayor and Common Council do
hereby confirm said assessments.
