Synopsis of Previous Council action:
July, 1991 - Appropriation of $222,000 under Account No. 129-309-
57835 approved in 1/2-Cent Sales Tax 1991/92 Budget.
02-17-92 --- Resolution No. 92-56 adopted authorizing execution of
an Agreement for Professional Engineering Services with
CG Engineering, Inc.
Recommended motion:
1. That the transfer of $120,000, from Account No. 129-309-57845,
"Orange Show Road, from Arrowhead Avenue to Waterman Avenue," to
Account No. 129-309-57835, "Redlands Blvd., from Hunts Lane to
East City Limits, be approved.
2.
That the plans for rehabilitation of Redlands Blvd., from Hunts
Lane to East City Limits in accordance with Plan No. 8756, be
approved, and that t~e Direct~r of Public workS/C~'ty En 'neer be
authorized to advert~se for b~ds. CM ~____

STAFF REPORT
Plans for the rehabilitation of the pavement in Redlands
Boulevard have been prepared by the Consulting Engineer and the
project is ready to be advertised for bids. The project
consists, in general, of cold planing a portion of the existing
asphalt concrete, installing fabric and placing asphalt concrete.
Below is the total estimated project cost:

An amount of $222,000 has been allocated, under Account
No. 129-309-57835, in the 1991/92 Measure "In 1/2-Cent Sales Tax
Budget. Supplemental funds in the amount of $120,000 will,
therefore, be needed to fully finance the total estimated project
cost. It is recommended that $120,000 be transferred from
Account No. 129-309-57845, "Orange Show Road - Arrowhead to
Waterman." This recommendation is based upon the fact that the
engineering design costs will be financed by IVDA from funds
loaned by SANBAG.
We recommend that the transfer of funds and plans be
approved, and authorization granted to advertise for bids.
