Re-roof City Hall
Bids for this project were opened at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, 8-
18-92.
A total of 6 bids were received, ranging from $77,750.00
to $115,940.00. The low bid of $77,750.00 is 2.3% above the
Engineer's Estimate of $76,000.00.
Below is the total estimated project cost, based upon the
actual low bid price:

RESOLUTION NO.
~ 2 RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF THE
'" .' CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A CONTRACT TO COMMAND ROOFING
3 SERVICES, INC., FOR RE-ROOFING CITY HALL.
" BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION,
ACTING ON BEHALF OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY
5 OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
6 SECTION 1. Command Roofing Services, Inc. is the lowest
7 responsible bidder for: Re-roofing City Hall, at 300 North "D"
8 Street, per Plan No. 8755. A contract is awarded accordingly to
9 said bidder for the total amount of $77,750.00, but such award
10 shall be effective only upon the contract being fully executed by
11 both parties. All other bids, therefore, are hereby rejected.
12 The Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute said
13 contract on behalf of the City; a copy of the contract is on file
14 in the office of' the City Clerk and incorporated herein by
C:, 15 reference as fully as though set forth at length.
16 SECTION 2. This contract and any amendment or modifica-
17 tions thereto shall not take effect or become operative until
18 fully signed and executed by the parties and no party shall be
19 obligated hereunder until the time of such full execution.
20 SECTION 3. This resolution is rescinded if the parties
21 to the contract fail to execute it within sixty (60) days of the
22 passage of this resolution.
