On July 20, 1992 the Community Development Commission considered
approval of the FY 1992/1993 Economic Development Agency budget and
continued the matter until August 3, 1992.
On August 3, 1992, the Community Development Commission considered
approval of the FY 1992/1993 Economic Development Agency budget and
approved the portions of Administrative Services, Development
Department and the Convention and Visitors Bureau, and continued the
matter of Main Street until August 20, 1992.
On August 17, 1992, the Community Development Commission continued
discussion to September 21, 1992, regarding adoption of the Main
Street budget and organization incorporation of the program into the
Economic Development Agency.

STAn' REPORT
Main Street Budwet
On August 17, 1992, the Community Development Commission discussed
issues raised in the attached memorandum of the same date. Essentially
the recommended actions were a series of changes to reduce
administrative costs for Main Street, and create greater operational
efficiency and coordination through the process of incorporating Main
Street under the auspices of the Economic Development Agency.
Discussion and action regarding these concerns was postponed until the
Commission meeting of September 21, 1992.
Councilman Maudsley has requested the titled topic be placed on a
supplemental agenda to be discussed on September 8, 1992.
is recommend Commission adopt the form motion referenced in the
7, 1992 memorandum.
