Until such time as we receive your response, we can go no further with our preparations, and the date of the event is rapidly approaching. Officer Rawls of the San Bernardino Police Department informed us last week that this year we would be asked to pay for the personnel time for city employees directly involved with our parade, i.e. pOlice officers, traffic engineering, etc. which could be thousands of dollars. At both of our previous parades, all fees were waived except the refundable barricade fee. We are respectfully requesting a fee waiver this year, as in previous years, of these personnel charges (which we would be unable to pay forcing us to cancel this year's parade). Our main goal in sponsoring this event is to to reach as many young people as possible and drug-free community by maintaining that "there to be free from dope." attempt claim a is hope Faith Temple Church is a non-profit organization which has been in operation since 1965, solely for the benefit of the community.
