This item was placed on the agenda at the request of Councilman
Reilly. The San Bernardino Police Department wishes to furnish the
Community Services Office at Baseline Street and Arrowhead Avenue. The
amount of $5,447 includes ten percent (10%) contingency. (See the
attached memorandum from Chief Robbins).
On May 7, 1992, the Redevelopment Committee approved $4,600 for
furnishing the CSO located in the West Side Shopping Center. That
office was furnished for approximately fifty-percent (50%) of what was
originally requested. Therefore, if history is any indication, it is
possible that the office at Baseline and Arrowhead will be furnished
for less than the requested amount of $5,447.
On July 23, 1992, the Redevelopment Committee considered this matter
and recommended to the Community Development Commission approval of the
subject item.
Staff recommends adoption of the form motion.
