Recommended motion: That the City Engineer and City Clerk are authorized to proceed with initiating proceedings for the establishment of an assessment district under the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code and that the City Engineer is directed to prepare an Engineer's Report for the proposed maintenance of front and side yards within the setback areas of Tentative Tract No. 14997. cc: Shauna Clark. The assessment will include the maintenance of landscaping, energy costs, and administrative costs. The maintenance of landscaping, however, will only be done in the event that the property owner(s) fail to maintain their respective properties within the setback areas. In the event that the City must perform any maintenance, each parcel will be assessed only for work performed on that parcel. The signatures affixed to the referenced petition have been checked and found to represent the owners of 100 percent of the area of the property lying within the proposed boundaries of the district to be assessed for the proposed maintenance. The developer will be required to advance the cost of the proceedings for establishment of the district. This item was continued to 8-3-92 in order to allow the appeal on the tentative tract to be heard at the Council Meeting of 7-20-92. The appeal was continued to 8-17-92 to allow the code enforcement investigation to proceed, with the condition that the tentative tract is denied if the driveway is not installed within 30 days. 5.0264 tlL 6<1 ., ~: ,
