" The Basic Bid is for security lighting in Delmann Heights
Community Center and parking lot. Alternate "A" is to replace
the lights at the basketball court.
An amount of $73,000.00 was allocated in the 1989/90 CDBG
Budget, under Account 121-544-57979, to fund these improvements.
Staff recommends adoption of the resolution awarding the
contract to.the low bidder.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A
CONTRACT TO DAVID RICHARDS ELECTRIC FOR INSTALLATION OF DELMANN
HEIGHTS COMMUNITY CENTER SECURITY LIGHTING.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
David Richards Electric is the lowest
responsible bidder for:
Installation of Delmann Heights
Community Center Security Lighting, per Plan No. 8721. A
contract is awarded accordingly to said bidder for the total
amount of $34,172.00, for the Basic Bid and Additive Alternate
"An, but such award. ~hall be effective only upon the contract
being fully executed by both parties.
All other bids, therefore,
are hereby rejected. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed

to execute said contract on behalf of the City; a copy of the
14
contract is on file in the office of the City Clerk and
15
incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth at
length.
SECTION 2. This contract and any amendment o~ modifica-
tions thereto shall not take effect or become operative until
fully signed and executed by the parties and no party shall be
obligated hereunder until the time of such full execution. No
oral agreements, amendments, modifications or waivers are
intended or authorized and shall not be implied from any act or
course of conduct of any party.
SECTION 3. This resolution is rescinded if the parties
to the contract fail to execute it within sixty (60) days of the
passage of this resolution.
