Synopsis of Previous Council action:
Nutrition contract for senior citizens executed or amended since 1977. The most
recent actions are Resolution 91-177 (May 6, 1991) and Resolution 91-375 (August
19, 1991).

The Senior Nutrition Program 1992-93 contract represents a
continuance of an existing program that has been ongoinq since
1977. The new contract compares to the 1991-92 contract as
follows:

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE
DIRECTOR OF PARKS, RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT
TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR AND ACCEPl' A GRANT FROM SAN BERNARDINO
COUNTY OFFICE ON AGING FOR THE SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR THE
PERIOD OF JULY 1, 1992 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1993.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The Director of Parks, Recreation and
Community Services Department of the City of San Bernardino is
hereby authorized and directed to submit an application to accept
on behalf of the City a grant from San Bernardino County Office
on Aqing for the Senior Nutrition Program for the periOd of July
1, 1992 through June 30, 1993.
SECTION 2.
The authorization granted hereunder shall
expire and be void and of no further effect if the agreement is
not executed by both parties and returned to the office of the
City Clerk within sixty (60) days following the effective date of
the resolution.
