STAFF REPORT
As required by the provisions of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code and
Resolutions No. 89-279 and 89-215, which established the District, the annual
assessment roll relative to Assessment District No. 989 (Mill and Macy Area
Landscaping and Sewer Lift Station Maintenance District has been prepared and is
attached to the Resolution.
The roll for 1992-93 totals $ 7,945.60 and is submitted to your Honorable
Body for action as required.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIR~ING THE 1992-93 ASSESSMENT
ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 989, LANDSCAPING AND SEWER LIFT STATION
MAINTENANCE, MILL AND MACY AREA.
WHEREAS,
by Resolution No. 89-279, the Mayor and
Common Council
found that the public interest, convenience, and necessity
required the
formation of a landscaping and sewer lift station maintenance
district; and
Il1lEREAS ,
by said Resolution No. 89-279, the Mayor and
Common
Cound I
formed an assessment district known as Assessment District
No. 989
for the purpose of providing landscaping and sewer lift station maintenance
in the area of Mill and Macy Streets pursuant to the provisions of Chapter
12.90 of the San Bernardino City MWlicipal Code: and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 89-215, the Mayor and Common Council
declared that all the land included within the boundaries of said district
will be benefited by the maintenance of said landscaping and sewer lift
station: and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 89-215 declared that an annual assessment
shall be levied on all land within the district to provide funding for said
landscaping and sewer lift station maintenance and the administration
thereof: and

WHEREAS. an Assessment Roll has been prepared totaling S 7.945.60
which sets forth the individual assessments to be levied on each of the
3 parcels of land within Assessment District No. 989 for the fiscal year 1992-

6 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
7 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOII'S:

9 SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and
10 determine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of
11 land within Assessment District No. 989 are correctly set forth on
12 Assessment Roll No. 989 for the fiscal year 1992-93. designated as Exhibit
13 "A" and attached hereto. and do hereby confirm said assessments.

SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this
Resolution to be transmitted to the Office of the Auditor-Controller for the
County of San Bernardino with the request that the individual assessments be
placed on the subject 1992-93 property tax bills for collection together
with all other property taxes.
