CITY OF SAN BERN~DINO - REQUEST M COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
In October, 1991, the City planted Olive Trees in that portion of the Little Sand
Creek right-of-way located at the Southeast corner of Lynwood Avenue and Sterling
Avenue. At the same time, a permit was requested from the San Bernardino County
Flood Control District to do such planting and to maintain the trees.
The Permit was issued on November 5, 1991 after payment of a $425.00 Inspection
Fee and is conditioned that a maintenance agreement shall be entered into between
the City and the Flood Control,
Although the area involved is in the County, it immediately adjoins our City
Limits.
Estimated annual costs for such maintenance has been provided by Manuel Moreno,
Jr, Director of Public Services who will be responsible for the maintenance. The
estimated annual cost is estimated at $400.00
The attached Resolution authorized acveptance and execution of the Agreement and
is recommended by this Department for adoption

ACCEPTANCE AND EXECUTION OF A LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN
BERNARDINO COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF OLIVE TREES
