Common Council
Gentlemen,
I am requesting appearance before the next council meeting. Purpose; to
inform the Mayor and Common Council on all events happening with ref-
erence to the spur track crossing on Rialto Avenue near Pice- ",venue,
P.U.C. having moved to help us.
Mayor and Council have voted for a Grade Separation; this is too costly
and will take too inany years to accomplish, with the large build-up of
traffic on this spur track as of now and in the very near future anymore
delays will and is causing a very serious problem.
I have forwarded all the pertinent' information to our councilman;Honorable
Jess Flores, Third Ward. '
With the information I have received Fifty-Five (55) trains per day, thru
the three tracks etc.
I wish the Mayor and Council to go on the Record requesting the II Removal
of the Spur Track" it can be done sooner and no expense to the City.
Removal of same proper way to approach the problem!
Jess, I request that you disseminate the information I have forwarded
to you, to your fellow Council Members so they be fully informed as to
what is happening, and what I propose to request.
