STAFF REPORT
This Resolution confirms the Assessment Roll and approves the Assessment Diagram Map
No.982 for the maintenance of landscaping in portions of the North side of Citrus
Street and the South side of Piedmont Drive, within the boundaries of Tract No. 13329.
On April 6, 1987, Resolution of Intention No. 87-114 was adopted which instituted
formal proceedings to form an assessment district in the Piedmont Drive area for the
mai ntenance of landscapi ng.
All the requirements of Chapter 12.90 of the Municipal Code were fullfilled, and on
May 11, 1987, the Resolution ordering work was adopted. The charges for the
establishment of the district total $1,322.35 which will be paid from the up-front
money deposi ted by the Developer.

RESOLUTI ON NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING
ASSESSMENT ROLL NO. 982 FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF FUTURE LANDSCAPING IN
PORTIONS OF THE NORTH SIDE OF CITRUS STREET AND THE SOUTH SIDE OF PIEDMONT
DRIVE WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF TRACT NO. 13329, IN THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO, AND APPROVING ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM MAP NO. 982.
I~HEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council of the Ci ty of San
Bernardino on April 6, 1987 , adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 87-
114 , to order the work described therein to be done under the provi sions
of Chapter 12.90 of the San Bernardino City Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council on April 6, 1987, approved
the Engineer's Report on the proposed assessment district, which report
includes a proposed assessment roll and Assessment District Map relative
to Assessment District No. 982; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention No. 87-114
the City of San Bernardino proceeded without Notice and Hearing; and
WHEREAS, i nci denta 1 expenses tota 11 i ng $1,322.35 ha ve been
incurred for the establishment of the district, which must be spread over
the individual parcels of said assessment district, the City has computed
and set forth in attached Exhibit "A" which is incorporated herein by
reference the first year assessment for each individual parcel, all of
which are as set forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, is hereby declared
to be the Assessment District No. 982 Roll for 1987-88 for the Piedmont
Drive Area Landscape Maintenance District.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby find and
determine that the proportionate costs to be levied against the parcels of
28 land within Assessment District No. 982 are correctly set forth on

Assessment Roll No. 982 for the fiscal year 1987-88, Piedmont Drive Area
Landscape Maintenance District, designated as Exhibit "A" for total costs
of establishing the district which Exhibit is attached hereto and is
incorporated herein by reference, and the Mayor and Common Council do
hereby confirm said assessments.
SECTION 2. That said Assessment Diagram Map No. 982 is hereby
approved.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted
by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
meeting thereof, held on the
